Distributor Newsletter - August

Jul 23, 2018 PEAK

Introduction

Welcome to the August edition of the Foresight Sports Distributor Newsletter!

July proved to be a fantastic month of Open Championship-fueled content, much of which you will see in this issue. We’re also extremely excited about this month’s full release of the PEAK platform, and to once again give you new product and sales updates as we move further into the third quarter. Let's start with our International Updates . . .

PEAK Online Learning

At long last, our PEAK Online Learning platform has launched! We've "soft-launched" the new platform, which is accessible via foresightsports.com and we are now asking selected customers as well as YOU - our distributors - for early feedback. We are extremely excited to finally be able to offer this in-depth, game-changing information to our global audience of players, fitters, and instructors.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be working on PEAK promotional pieces and social media as we gear up for the official launch. Stay tuned for more!

International Updates

Foresight Sports HQ - Thomas Curtis

A great story during Open Championship week in July, involving English qualifier Thomas Curtis and his new GCQuad. Taking his GCQuad to The Open Championship, Curtis produced some great content for our social media channels, and also gave us exclusive access to his unique preparations and strategy for the tournament. Although he didn’t make the cut, Curtis shot an impressive 68 that included five birdies on day two.

Foresight Sports Southeast Asia

We'd like to announce a new addition to the Foresight Sports Southeast Asia family this month. Noel Hassan will be joining the team to manage the Indonesian and Malaysian territories for Foresight Sports Southeast Asia, bringing both his extensive course management and professional coaching experience to the team. Noel entered the golf industry with Wildinggolf in 2001 before becoming the sole distributor for the popular Malaysian driver brand 'Nickent', where he oversaw a record sales period. Latterly Noel has been involved in coaching and working with both Malaysian amateurs and touring golf professionals. Welcome to the team Noel, we're excited to have you aboard!

The Southeast Asia team has also been working hard on a golf simulator project for the exclusive Hulhule Island Hotel in the Maldives - and this was no ordinary install. Midway through the project, the team was informed that the hotel wished to add a karaoke room for hotel guests! Of course, the team pulled it off beautifully. Here's a rendering they gave us:

"Talking Golf" Podcast with Peter Kostis

"We have to be careful in making the assumption that this data is fact."

Our very own Advisor Peter Kostis was recently on Hugh Marr's star-studded "Talking Golf" podcast, where he outlined some key points on the weaknesses and shortcomings of Trackman’s club head data. Along with being a longtime TV analyst for CBS, Kostis is a world-renowned instructor and an outspoken proponent of Foresight Sports technology. This is a powerful piece to send to your customers - particularly instructors and fitters - who are currently weighing the pros and cons between the GCQuad and Trackman.

Rick Shiels at the Carnoustie Performance Centre

Our team was proud to see Foresight Sports Advisory Board member and internet sensation Rick Shiels touting the fantastic job done by Foresight Sports EU in the Carnoustie Performance Centre. Shiels and The Open agreed to an exclusive content partnership ahead of the tournament, and the world’s leading digital golf presenter took viewers of The Open Championship’s official Youtube channel on an exclusive tour of the Carnoustie Performance Centre featuring seven GCQuad-powered simulation bays (picture below). It's incredible to see our own GCQuad take center stage at the world’s oldest Major! Our team has condensed the segment so you can send this out to customers.

Ryan Moore and Kevin Chappell Installations

During July, our team had the pleasure of installing Performance Simulators for PGA Tour superstars Ryan Moore and Kevin Chappell in their homes in Las Vegas and Washington respectively! Moore and Chappell's comprehensive installations show that Foresight Sports is rapidly erstablishing itself as the only choice for home simulators amongst tour professionals. Great job guys!

Important Updates

FSX Mobile v1.3

The much-awaited GC2 update for FSX Mobile users is now here for Android users! FSX 2018 owners may now download the app and use it with both the GC2 and GCQuad. IOS approval will be coming soon!

For GCQuad users, this new 1.3 update also includes the addition of putting screens.

Happy August!

We're excited to announce that the US team had their record sales month for July. We've been working hard with summer winding down here in the northern hemisphere and the team at HQ is excited to keep the momentum going as we end the summer and head into the fall season. That being said, we encourage you to keep pushing the Foresight Sports brand out more and more! Don't forget to take advantage of our Marketing Credit program so that you can continue to promote our image in your markets. 2017 was the year of the GCQuad - let's power through these next several months and continue to make 2018 the year of Foresight Sports!
