Foresight shows out for NCAA D1 Championship at La Costa

Jun 03, 2025 Foresight shows out for NCAA D1 Championship at La Costa

When an NCAA Championship is on the line, the best players rely on the most accurate data to measure their golf ball and get the most precise data possible.

32 Division I men’s programs showed up at Omni La Costa in Carlsbad, CA last week to compete for a title and 26 of them relied on GCQuads and QuadMAXs to get their numbers dialed ahead of the tournament. With many teams visiting from the South and Midwest, where the weather is different than coastal California, players needed to adjust to unique atmospheric conditions affecting their customary carry distances. Making it even more important to trust the data they were getting from their GCQuad or QuadMAX.

CENTER OF OUR GAME IMPROVEMENT

"Our guys use a Foresight launch monitor daily. It allows players to get instant feedback on their shots and provides a more accurate picture of where improvements have been made and areas for an opportunity to grow. The Foresight Equipment is something we also lean on for competitive games amongst the team and our players love seeing how dialed in they can get. It has truly been the center of our game improvement program and is a staple to player development. As a coach the technology is extremely valuable and is at the forefront of how we coach the elite players in our program" Georgia Tech assistant coach Evan Smith.

"I love using my GCQuad because of it's portability, it's super convenient and easy to use, and how it provides exact numbers based off where Im playing due to its ability to adjust ball flight to the weather and altitude I'm at  Carson Bacha, graduating Senior from the University of Auburn told us during his practice round.
