Foresight Sports’ New Downrange Tracking Technology Brings Precision to Entertainment

Jan 29, 2018

Foresight Sports has announced the latest addition to its line of cutting-edge solutions designed for the rapidly growing commercial entertainment range market. DTS, short for Downrange Tracking System, is a modular, easily installed camera system which measures final ball placement and shot distances. When combined with the company’s GC line of launch monitors – including the GCQuad and the new GCHawk – DTS delivers a precise view of players’ ball’s performance from the moment of impact to the exact resting spot on the green.

“DTS takes range-based performance analysis and entertainment to a new level of precision,” says Foresight Sports President Scott Werbelow.

Shot data collected by DTS network of cameras is instantly analyzed and matched with a player’s initial launch data via Foresight Sports proprietary Fusion software application. From there, it’s delivered to the player via the company’s FSX simulation software platform to provide an unrivalled entertainment experience.

Foresight Sports will be showcasing DTS along with the company’s new GCQuad-powered Smart Range Console at the 2018 PGA Merchandise Show at Outdoor Demo Day Tee #7. The company’s full line of solutions will be showcased at indoor exhibit booth #1025.

The 2018 PGA Merchandise Show kicks off with Outdoor Demo Day on January 23 at the Orange County National Golf Center. Exhibit halls open at the Orange County Convention Center January 24.
