Par 3 golf simulator course praised for wedge practice and short game development (40-130 yards). Customers said it's "great fun for the whole family" and perfect for warming up. Some noted challenging greens with severe slopes make it "not for beginners." Highly requested features: more tee box options and additional color choices.

Great for practicing approach. Wish we could have more color options for tee off thought

Not for beginners

This course is advertised as an easy beginners course, this course is not for beginners! some of the greens are very challenging, very small landing zone, high degree of slope that will cause the ball to roll off the green. hitting over water and bunkers! how does this help a beginner golfer that is having difficulties with consistency! you need to be a good ball striker to play and enjoy this course. this is not a good course for people just starting to play! please add more tee options for better chance at having some fun for beginners.

For some reason the purring on this course is wonky. It’ll hit 100 yards on 15’ putt at times. Doesn’t happen on any other course that I’ve found

Great Par 3 Course - FSX Play

Great course to tune up wedge play with distances ranging from 40 yards to 125 yards. Pay attention to pin locations as some green complexes have severe undulations.

I like this a lot

I really enjoyed pitch and put… the first time I played it, I played two rounds of 18.

Perfect /need more

Perfect course for warming up.
You use allot of wedges. I like to put it on auto putt and as soon as u hit the green it gives u a score based on how far from the hole. No matter pin location easy medium or hard each pin location will have a couple of pins you must play smart. I probably use this course more than any other before I go to real course play that and hit a few shots on the range then head to my outside course. Clarity hills another par 3 course that is excellent. You also have the ability to make your own par 3 courses from all the courses you own. Pitch putt is phenomenal
Course definitely a great course for the boys before we play a regular course.

A must have

I have a ton of courses and this course I play constantly. Can get through it quick (auto putt strokes gained for the win!) and there are some creative visuals. One aspect of sim golf that I think gets overlooked is being able to commit to a landing number no matter the visual… this used to get me on the real course when a 60 yard pitch can look vastly different (uphill, downhill, a lot of green, short sided, etc) the eyes can play tricks. I’m loving how this different visuals can effectively be be blocked out with enough reps and commitment to your landing number and shot type. Wedge game is dialed after just having fun on this course for almost a year now. This is an insta-purchase don’t even think about it as I’m sure most people who’ve invested in the quad have already done.

Foresight make some more of these!!

I’ve had the quad now for a little over three years and can unequivocally proclaim it’s the best purchase I’ve ever made. My house is on fire I’m grabbing my wife, kids, dog and quad. I’ll figure everything else out.

Great practice course

Loved this pitch and putt and after one round, I know that this is a fun way to work on those scoring opportunities that are going to result in an extra birdie or two in the round. There are actually some very challenging greens here that I mulliganed 3 times just trying to find a way to make the ball stick. Really great design.

My only ding on this is that I think they should have designed this with maybe 2 more tees. Just +/-10 yards back and +/-10 yards forward to be able to change some of the yardages. There's a lot of 98-100 holes with the tee box set. I think a little variation in the distances from round to round would be a nice improvement

Great for gambling

This course is a million times better on FSX Play. Great fun for the whole family and me and the kids play it all the time. I would love it if the software would keep a low score leaderboard that would show up before each hole when the auto putt feature is on. We keep a chart in the sim area and everyone that comes over has a go at breaking the low course score but also the low score for each hole. Basically a KP on every hole when the auto putt feature gives out a decimal score.

Great For the Short Game

Work through all your wedges to help tune the most important part of your game.
Fun/quick game with your buddies.
Breaking 60 is a good score.
A tip is set to auto putt.

Excelent Par 3 Course

It's a very good Par 3 course. It's very useful to add in the library courses.

Great Practice Course

This course allows you to focus on the most important part of your game, 130 yards and in. I mainly use my set-up to improve and Pitch N Putt allows me to focus on the shots that will help my scores outside.

Great Practice Course

This course is a must for those preparing for tournaments or just wanting to practice distance control. My only suggestion would be to make varying tees, otherwise this course is great fun to play.

Great course to warm up or practice

This is a great little course to get some wedge work in and or warm up before you put the big boy courses on. I also like to play this course with my buddies when they come over (they are all righties, I’m lefty). Must have for everyone’s library.

Short game

Great holes to sharpen your short game yardages. Fun way to learn finesse.

Fun wedge course

This is a fun track. With auto putt it plays super quick. You have to hit all the shots and I’ve already learned about my different wedge distances. Set the greens extra firm and the course plays several strokes harder, very realistic feedback from FSX.

Great short game course

This is the only course I’ve purchased so far and I really enjoy it. I’m very much into using the qcquad for training myself and my junior, so we use the range far more than courses. This pitch n putt course fits right into to practicing better approach shots. 50-130yds. Some of these are tricky with greens that slope away. I’d love to see multiple tee locations added to give a little variation on distance/angle on each hole. I would buy more par 3 courses if they were offered. Good job Foresight.

A good mix of challenges and odd yardages

You usually don't think much of a pitch n putt course, and this one doesn't stand out for design, but that doesn't mean it's not challenging. A mix of straightforward holes and flat-ish greens are interspersed with some postage stamp size greens, some having wicked breaks. Beginners should look to slow the green speeds down a little to help with the harder holes, veterans that keep the green speeds fast will need to learn which holes demand proper placement of their tee shot in order to score well. I'll definitely be going back for more on this course as it makes for a quick and satisfying 18 hole break in the middle of the day.

Great for practicing wedge shots

This is a fun short course to practice wedge shots. I've also used this course for young/beginner golfers. It would be better if the greens didn't have that much slope, especially when using it for young golfers.

Unique Course

You can do a lot with this course. You can use it to work on short game, for warming up, or as a playable course for kids and beginners. It’s also a nice addition because it’s so different from the other courses.

Pich N Putt

I like the idea of the course. But you either get the green or you miss in the sand or weeds. I would rather have it look like a real par 3. If you miss the green you could chip.

awesome

I really like the pitch and putt course. It is the perfect alternative when you do not have a lot of time and want to play a quick round and need to work on the short irons.

Outstanding

The new system is well worth it. The graphics are so real and the setup options are more personal. My kids love the to play and compete on this very easy to use system. You have some many course options that we haven’t even had the opportunity to play them all yet. Costumer service was very helpful and the downloads work easily. I highly recommend this system for your home or buisness.

Pitch and putt

I’ve been playing the pitch and putt course for a few weeks and I’m loving it. Very challenging course with a variety of distances will enhance any short game. The putting is a lot of fun too. Give it a try and you won’t be disappointed. Very affordable.

Pitch and Putt Fun

I have a home-based simulator, andI have been playing with he pitch and putt course for a few weeks and have a few thoughts.
-It is very useful in working on your short game within a gold course framework. I find that when I just work on the short game on the range or from a spot on a course it gets repetitive. That isn't how it works on the real course, so the pitch and putt really helps put your short shots in context
- I have a couple of young golfers in the family and this is a good first-step for them to start playing on something that looks like a golf course.
- I'm not a big fan of putting on the simulator, so I just use auto-putt. What makes that useful is that I can get through 18 holes fairly quickly. This is nice when you don't have much time.
