Welcome to the Foresight Sports distributor newsletter for June! We’re excited to present the first installment of our distributor-focused newsletter, with features and content from our sales teams, engineering teams, and of course our global team of distributors. We’re proud to have a #ForesightFamily that spans the globe, and very proud to present the stories and successes you’ve shared with us.

Gourock Golf Club has just added two GCQuads to their development studio. Seeing this from such a high-caliber facility once again affirms that Foresight Sports is becoming the premiere name in golf simulation solutions!

Jeff Brehaut, former PGA Tour player and current Champions Tour player and instructor, is the latest renowned player to share a compelling story about the GCQuad. International Updates

Foresight Sports Korea

While we're always excited to see the Foresight Sports logo, the TV deals that Foresight Sports Korea recently landed put an exceptional spotlight on our product. The GCQuad is being featured on two of Korea’s biggest golf channels, SBS Golf and JTBC Golf. SBS Golf is Korea’s main golfing broadcaster and has broadcast the PGA, LPGA, and Japan Golf Tours since its inception in 1999. Not only are these networks exclusively using the GCQuad, but according to Jin Sung Director of Operations, Yong Mo Lee, the programs were planned and designed for the GCQuad.

The GCQuad’s indoor and outdoor capabilities have been on display, with a regular outdoor lesson featured on JTBC each Thursday since September 2017. SBS also plans to feature an indoor lesson series that will run between June 2018 and June 2019. According to Yong Mo, Korean golf fans have been highly impressed by the impact data the GCQuad delivers, saying “This makes a huge difference to the game improvement potential of golfers in Korea - the reaction of the viewers has been very exciting.”

Foresight Sports Europe

Korea hasn't been the only distributor making waves in the golf industry - Foresight Sports Europe has become an Official Partner of the PGA of Sweden. The leading Nordic golf body has over 1,100 members, 750 of which are club professionals. The partnership recognizes Foresight Sports as the Official Launch Monitor supplier to the Swedish PGA. Foresight Sports has also been selected as an Associate Supplier to Golfstore, one of Sweden’s largest golf retailers, resulting in access to a network of over 300 shops.

“These partnerships represent a significant step forward in our continued growth in the Nordic countries,” said James Stewart, EMEA Sales Manager for Foresight Sports Europe. “Both parties were very impressed with our technology and we’re delighted to be working with them.”


Foresight Sports Southeast Asia


Considering the PGA Merchandise Show is one of our largest events, we absolutely love hearing about other industry shows around the world. Golf Technologies Asia Pacific (GTAP) exhibited at the 2018 Thailand Golf Expo in May, demonstrating all of their latest golf technology offerings - and showcasing Foresight technology as our Southeast Asia distributor. The Thailand Golf Expo is one of the largest golfing exhibitions for golf products and services in Thailand, and our presence there is no small deal as Thailand continues to climb the ranks of golf destinations!

The team's booth featured a mobile simulator powered by a GCQuad and loaded up with FSX 2018, plus a high-speed camera system from our integration partner Swing Catalyst. The Only Green, a realistic putting green with adjustable breaks, was also set up. Hundreds of visitors showed their interest in the exhibit and came out to give the exciting technologies a try.


Foresight Sports HQ

Exciting news: Drive Shack, a new state-of-the-art driving range experience, opened up its first facility in Orlando earlier this year! The hottest new name on the “eatertainment” golf range scene is set to open four more locations at the beginning of next year - all powered by Foresight Sports technology! Pros and amateurs alike can appreciate Drive Shack's true golf feel, with all of the data of our GC launch monitors coupled with our FSX courses and a wide variety of games.

Release Dates

FSX Mobile - May saw the release of the FSX Mobile app, which gives Foresight Sports fans the opportunity to bring the Foresight Sports Experience to their mobile devices. The app is available as a free download on both the Android and App stores and can be used in tandem with the GCQuad, provided that the user owns an FSX 2018 license.

Features - FSX Mobile comes with a new downtown skin and will include a new total distance feature in addition to the carry feature.


Important Updates

Marketing Credits

For those of you who make use of the Marketing Credits system, please take note of the following rules/steps for use:

1. Marketing Credits worksheet AND marketing expense receipts must be turned in to Natalie Tang (ntang@foresightsports.com) and the accounting team at the beginning of the quarter following the quarter that is being filed.

After internal approval, Natalie will notify you of your Marketing Credit approval, or if changes need to be made.

2. Once approved, Marketing Credits will become available for use on the first day of the following quarter

3. In order to use your Marketing Credits:

Generate PO for the software being purchased with Marketing Credits. This PO must also include Marketing Credits as a separate item and the dollar amount of credits to be used. PO must show a total of $0.00.

Send PO into Sales Support team as with regular orders, and copy Natalie Tang on the email.

Natalie will approve (or reject) the use of Marketing Credits and inform you of your Marketing Credits balance. If the reported balance is incorrect, you have 1 week to inform Natalie of discrepancies.

4. Enjoy spreading the Foresight Sports love to your software customers!


SRC Latest Rendering

THIS JUST IN from one of our design partners - a preliminary rendering of the Smart Range Console (SRC)! Since the PGA Show in January, our engineers have taken what used to be an iPad on a pole connecting to a GCQuad and turned it into the sleek, user-focused system you see below. Obviously, this sneak peak is meant for internal purposes only and not to be publicly promoted, but we thought you’d like to see what’s in store!
