Golfsmith leverages "game-changing" GC2 Performance Simulation in retailer’s aggressive growth strategy.

Golfsmith, the largest golf specialty retailer in the US with over 70 stores nationwide, has begun a chain-wide upgrade of its in-store club fitting studios to include Foresight Sports' GC2-powered Performance Simulation.

“After extensively testing the top launch monitors and simulators in the industry, our overwhelming choice for all Golfsmith stores is the Foresight Sports GC2," says Jeff Morgan, Golfsmith's Club Fitting and Technology Manager. 

"We have currently installed the GC2 into twenty-four locations, and will be installing it in all new locations. We are also in the process of converting the remaining fifty-five stores. We couldn’t be more satisfied with the accuracy, ease of use and the enhanced customer experience that the technology delivers. It has allowed us to broaden our club fitting services and we have seen an increase in club sales since its introduction. It’s flat-out impressive technology.”

Golfsmith’s GC2-powered Performance Simulation upgrades will include larger, full-immersion simulation bays for fitting, as well as smaller simulation areas that utilize the GC2 in conjunction with LCD displays. The retailer will also utilize the GC2 for upgrading existing in-store simulation technology.
